Attention Electrologists and Manicurists!
Did you know that with the recent December 2006 Wisconsin Law change Electrologists and Manicurists can now legally utilize depilatory wax after completing a state prescribed 8 hour waxing class offered by a licensed B.A.C. school. Note there are some specific issues such as Manicurists are restricted in the body areas they can wax; so be sure to read the latest Wisconsin Law and Code for all the details and requirements for our professions.

River Rock Institute offers superior training to help get your professional waxing services off the ground and running right away. Choose from our Day One program designed to meet the state standards for waxing services for Electrologists and Manicurists or Day Two: Extreme Waxing Techniques. Or save $50 and register for both classes and complete the Waxing Boot Camp Program with both Day One and Two.
Please note that Day Two will feature both male and female models and given the nature of the services full nudity is to be expected (on the part of the models, not the participants) please plan accordingly.
All
courses include morning refreshments, a delicious catered lunch, tons of fun
topped with all the pertinent information you
need including a custom take home resource CD filled with valuable forms and
marketing materials you can customize and use right away. Our goal is for
Waxing Boot Camp participants to be able to return home and start offering
services as soon as their supplies arrive so we've taken care of all of the busy
work for you!
We will explore hands-on and theoretical concepts for both hard and soft wax applications with a focus on speed, proper hygiene, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and good ergonomic practices so you can keep waxing clients safely for years and years to come.
All of our courses are offered at our new state-of-the-art facility in historic Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We can't wait to share our 3,000 square feet of professional hair removal excitement with you! We also have partnered with local hotels to offer deeply discounted rates for attendees. All course fees are to be paid at the time of registration. If the class date you have requested is full, you may opt to be put on a wait-list and called should a space open up. If you'd like to be wait-listed please note this on your registration form.
